This compatible Canon PGI-580XXL & CLI-581XXL five-cartridge multipack is intended for the following Canon PIXMA printers using PGI-580 Black and CLI-581 Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow cartridges.

This five-cartridge pack does not include a CLI-581 Photo Blue cartridge. If your printer requires Photo Blue, that cartridge must be purchased separately.

The compatible PGI-580XXL Black cartridge contains 27 ml of ink. Each CLI-581XXL Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow cartridge contains 12.5 ml, giving this five-cartridge multipack a total ink volume of 77 ml.

Actual cartridge life depends on printer model, print settings, page coverage, paper type, cleaning cycles and frequency of use. Photographs, large graphics and solid colour backgrounds generally use more ink than lightly printed documents.

Each cartridge is used at a different rate depending on what you print. The two black cartridges serve different positions in the printer and should not be substituted for one another.

Ink volume does not guarantee a fixed number of printed pages. Individual cartridge yields should not be added together to calculate a combined pack yield.

1. Follow your printer’s cartridge replacement procedure to access the cartridge holder.
2. Remove each replacement cartridge from its packaging.
3. Remove any protective caps, clips or tape as directed in the supplied instructions.
4. Match each cartridge reference and colour to the correct position. Install the PGI-580XXL Black cartridge in the PGBK position and the CLI-581XXL Black cartridge in the BK position.
5. Install Cyan, Magenta and Yellow in their corresponding colour positions.
6. Ensure each cartridge is securely seated, then follow the applicable printer prompts.
